Ben Forman
Ben Forman grew up in a family of characters. Loud voices, deep laughs, and animated faces are how he remembers childhood. Growing up, the best thing you could do in his family was hold a room of people with a great story; this stuck with him. After attending Union College in New York, he began a career as a filmmaker in Los Angeles.
Now, for almost a decade, Forman has worked in entertainment as a director, writer, and producer. Beginning in branded content, he produced for companies like United Health Ventures and Nickelodeon before working in commercials and eventually television. During those years, Forman led development at the production company JOY Factory and built meaningful relationships with streaming services like Amazon, Hulu, and Netflix while selling projects to AXS TV and HGTV.
Then, in 2022, tragedy struck and he left Los Angeles for Boston to create this very personal film of love and loss.
